Andrew Chavez serves as a media specialist for the Schieffer School of Journalism at Texas Christian University and is enrolled in the school’s graduate journalism program. He also serves as digital manager for the Texas Center for Community Journalism at TCU and is a freelance writer and photographer. Before joining the Schieffer School as a media specialist, he worked at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram as the night police reporter.
